"
This third book in Lisa Childs's Witch Hunt series is wonderful. It has all the
answers to questions raised in the previous two stories. This is definitely a
book to check out.
Lisa Childs's Witch Hunt books are wonderful. DAMNED answered some questions
from the earlier books, Hunted and Persecuted. Ty is the classic tortured hero,
and saving Irina is what he needs to save himself.
Enough explanations are made in DAMNED that you could potentially read it on its
own. However, I highly recommend reading about all three sisters. It's
interesting to watch the women come together after being separated for so many
years. These books are as much about the sisters as they are about the love each
sister finds. These are books you don't want to miss, so pick them up today."

Persecuted - Witch Hunt
Silhouette Nocturne - April 2007
ISBN 978-0-373-61761-6
"In
a stunning sequel to Haunted, Persecutedis a journey
into a mother’s worst nightmare. The
kidnapping of Elena’s daughter is a
situation that grips a reader to sit at
attention as they follow along through the
novel. Fear and danger leap out at you
keeping the thudding in your chest roaring
until you reach the very end. Part of a
three part series, one can hardly anticipate
what Lisa Childs has in store for us in
Damned. Though after the interview that is
featured on this months update, this
reviewer has it on good authority that some
of the secondary characters from this series
could be back in a major way.
Lisa Childs does a wonderful job of keeping
things mysterious, leaving us only little
crumbs to follow along as she writes. This
is not to say however her style lags in any
way, quite the contrary she gives us just
enough to carry the story. With so many
questions unanswered the conclusion to this
trio will be no doubt a great one." --

"The second book in the enthralling Witch
Hunt series continues the story of three
sisters being hunted because they are
witches. These women are sought because they
possess special charms which a fanatic
desires above all else. With powerful
emotions and gripping action, Lisa Childs
delivers a captivating story with
PERSECUTED. Regardless of the
genre in which Lisa Childs writes, she
creates memorable characters and intriguing
storylines to thoroughly entertain readers.
In her latest paranormal story, the details
are chillingly real and the personalities of
each character are genuinely depicted.
Whether Ms. Child is showing how Elena’s
abilities affect her or describing the
potent feelings between her and Joseph, the
scene is always skillfully presented. This
story is filled with emotions, some angry,
others fearful and numerous passionate
yearnings. When the characters felt these
inner thoughts or even expressed them, I was
pulled deeper into their personal lives,
which had me either concerned for them or
despising them for their devious and hurtful
ways. The reason for the resurrected
witch hunt is cleverly written, and there
are several surprising developments during
this story. The book’s ending has me
anxiously in anticipation of the next story.
PERSECUTED is a stirring paranormal romance,
where wonder and reality are cleverly
blended." -- Amelia Richard,

"Persecuted (3), by Lisa
Childs, is a solid book. Childs' depiction
of Elena as a frightened mother seems very
accurate. " -- Alexandra Kay,

"Lisa Childs has written a spellbinding
book about a woman who is forced to accept
that not only is she a witch but her
daughter is as well. This paranormal
romantic thriller is full of action but it
Elena, vulnerable yet fierce when it comes
to her daughter who is the reason her
abduction makes the tale move at such a
rapid pace. " --

5
clovers and awarded a Recommended Read.
Lisa Childs proves herself to be a writer that will be sought after soon enough,
so for now it is comparable to finding a rare gem amongst a barrel of beads.
Discovering authors you never knew were out there makes every new book a chance
at becoming one of many books you wouldn’t be able to live without. Lisa Childs
is one of those authors who may just make that sacred list. Unfortunately as a
Silhouette book Haunted won’t be available forever as once the limited supply is
sold out the chance of exploring this starts to deteriorate. This is a must buy
for anyone who loves to dabble in the paranormal world of witches." --

"HAUNTED is a fast paced read that will keep you guessing until the very end. The
romance and suspense are deftly woven with the paranormal elements to provide a
satisfying read that will keep you turning the pages well into the night. "

Learning to Hula
Harlequin Next - August 2006
ISBN 978-0-373-88105-5
"LEARNING TO HULA by the prolific writer
Lisa Childs is heartfelt and heartening.
Talented Lisa Childs takes a most delicate
subject and presents it in a real next door
neighbor way. Her heroine, Holly,
transformed from a fragile unsure person to
a strong, ready for life woman before my
eyes. Holly’s struggle with rebuilding her
life was made real with a touch of humor and
Ms. Childs captured it perfectly. For a
heart warming story with a chuckle, be sure
to get your copy of LEARNING TO HULA."
-- Donna Zapf, SingleTitles.com
"Learning to Hula (4), by
Lisa Childs, is a touching and heartwarming
look at the pain of loss, leavened with
laughter. The kids are realistically
obnoxious without being overwritten, and
Childs skillfully handles not only Holly's
story but also those of other family members
dealing with loss, making a richly textured
story." -- Page Traynor,
RT BookClub
"LEARNING TO HULA is one of
the sweetest, funniest, and moving stories
that this reviewer has had the pleasure to
read in a long time. Lisa Childs does a
superb job of creating real characters,
enhancing their strengths and flaws, which
make them lovable. Problems are unraveled
and lessons on living are taught in this
wonderful, poignantly humorous tale. This
book comes highly recommended for readers of
all ages." -- Betty Cox,
NovelTalk.com
"Learning To Hula, while a book about the
grieving process and losing a loved one, is
also a book about family relationships and
taking new chances in life. The small town
atmosphere lends a cozy feel to the book,
and the dynamics of Holly’s family
(especially her sisters) are often amusing.
There are not many surprises in this often
predictable book; that said, this is about
the journey, not the destination, and
Learning to Hula is an enjoyable read if the
reader keeps that in mind. " -- Shannon
Bigham,
Curled Up with a Good Book
"LEANING TO HULA is a deep look at the
grieving process as Holly and her children
struggle in their own ways with the "death
by cupcakes" of her husband and their
father. Even Holly sisters mourn in a
realistic way the demise of their
brother-in-law. The character driven story
line uses angst and humor to insure that
readers understand that grief is customized
to the needs of the surviving loved ones.
Though action-free except for the nasty but
realistic behavior of the kids, fans of
powerful character studies will want to
learn to hula alongside Holly and company."

"Taking Back Mary Ellen Black
(4.5) by Lisa Childs is vividly set in a
working-class neighborhood with sympathetic
characters who provide humor and warmth.
Strong growth, not just in the heroine's

Sarah's Secrets
Harlequin Intrigue - July 2003
ISBN 978-0-373-22720-4
"Lisa Childs writes a story of
intrigue and mystery. As I read Sarah and
Royce’s story I was on the edge of my seat,
trying to stay ahead of the people who were
trying to cause Sarah and Jeremy harm. I was
pulled into this story from the first page
until the end of the book. This book will
join the ones on my keeper shelf. Pickup a
copy of this book, settle back in your
favorite chair and enjoy. " -- Helen

"SARAH’S SECRETS is a fantastic suspense
story, with threads of romance and family.
Sarah has suffered a great deal at the
expense of her hometown. Her secrets are
there to protect Jeremy, but also her heart.
Royce is haunted with inner demons he has
been battling ever since his job as an FBI
agent. The last thing he wants to do is make
another promise to a child. However, his
feelings take a sharp change for both Jeremy
and Sarah; he is surprised at the level of
his feelings for both of them. It was good
to read a dark hero who was able to
recognize that giving up is no way to live.
Lisa Childs is a new author to me. However,
SARAH’S SECRETS was so enjoyable, that I
will be looking for more titles from her.
